Cagrilintide is a long-acting synthetic peptide that mimics amylin, a hormone naturally produced by the pancreas to regulate appetite and slow gastric emptying. Cagrilintide is being studied for its role in weight management, appetite suppression, and metabolic support, both as a standalone therapy and in combination with Semaglutide.
